My love for creating storybooks began after I lost my mom to inflammatory breast cancer in 2015. She was so full of life and her presence lit up every room she stepped into. A year later, I wrote and published The Angel with the Purple Shoes, inspired by her life and my imagination of what her days in Heaven might look like. I found healing in writing her story and comfort in my deepest grief. It reminded me that love never truly ends, it simply changes form.
That same love and purpose are at the heart of the Purple Shoe Book Production Company. It’s more than just writing, it’s ministry. It’s healing. It’s legacy-building. Every story becomes a way to grieve, to laugh, to cry, and to remember. These books are keepsakes. For your children. For your family. For your heart. So if you’re wondering, “Could someone tell my loved one’s story?” The answer is yes. That’s what I’m here to do. It’s my privilege to walk with you in this sacred space of remembrance. Together, let’s keep their stories alive.
